Justice: What Love looks like in Public

I had an opportunity to volunteer at First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte for their lecture series “Justice: What Love looks like in Public.” Dr. Cornel West made his second visit to Charlotte in a week as part of First Presbyterian Church’s 25th Willard Endowment Speaker. He touched on issues of social justice. Dr. West helped the diverse group to discern a faithful response to issues of race and inequality and to experience a hope-filled transformation as individuals and as a community.
